Conventions used in this manual

This manual uses the following terms to indicate elements, choices and key controls:

Term
Meaning
To click
Press the mouse key.
To select
Click once on an object or on its name. If a doubleclick is necessary, it will be indicated in the explanation of the relative function.
It may refer to the release of the button in case ofpop-up menus.
Confirm
In the standard dialogue windows of the operativesystem, which are designated for the selection of the elements, click on the buttons 'Open' or 'OK '.
Tools >Time Editor Ctrl+T
Select 'Time Editor ' in the 'Tools' menu. The
abbreviation Ctrl+T means that you can get the same result pressing 'Control ' and 'T ' at the same time on your keyboard.
Option-click
Press Option and click at the same time.
Right-click
Press the right key of the mouse.
Ctrl+Left-click
Press the left key of the mouse and the Control key, at the same time.
Checkbox
Box to be selected. Selecting it enables a precisely defined function and the v sign appears inside.
Default
Value previously determined in the system at the time of programming.
Spatializer Inputs
The internal inputs are the 8 audio channels (for a single X-Spat card) used to 'spatialize' audio signalscoming from the Rosetta.
Outputs
The channels used by the outgoing Spatializer. The number of outputs must always be the same as the number of speakers used to reproduce Spatialisation™ in the given environment.
Setup
All the settings necessary to achieve Spatialisation™ in a given environment.
