X-Spat for Mac OS X and the Audio MIDI Setup window
The main function of the Audio MIDI Setup window is to provide the system with some infor-mation relating to the hardware configuration by which you intend to achieve Spatialisation ™ or surround reproduction. The panel includes the following controls and options.
The pop-up menu •Format • will allow you to choose the sampling frequency. Available fre-quencies are 44.100,48.000, 88.200 and 96.000 Hz. N.B.: remember that the frequency must be the same as the one manually selected in the front panel of the Rosetta 800 96.
In the Audio Output area you can select the number of outputs necessary for your Session. Select "Configure Speakers", then "Multichannel". Select •Octagonal°ò in the popup menu. Select "Apply", then close the window selecting "Done".
